BTS at MetLife Stadium August 2026: Long Island Car Service Guide
A Long Island car service to MetLife Stadium is the one piece of this weekend that's still simple to arrange. BTS brings the ARIRANG World Tour to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, 2026, both shows sold out on-sale and both marking the first time all seven members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, have toured together since finishing military service. If you're driving in from Nassau or Suffolk for either night, the ticket was the hard part. Getting there and getting home shouldn't be.
The Shows
BTS: ARIRANG World Tour
- Dates: Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2, 2026
- Venue: MetLife Stadium, 1 MetLife Stadium Drive, East Rutherford, NJ
- Show time: 8:00 PM both nights
- Scale: Two back-to-back sellouts at an 80,000-capacity stadium, part of an 82-show, 34-city, 23-country tour running through early 2027, staged in the round on a 360-degree set
Both shows went instantly at the January on-sale. New York is now the most expensive resale market on the entire tour, which tells you something about who's driving in from this side of the Hudson. A lot of that demand is Long Island.
Why Two Sellout Nights Is a Different Problem Than One
One sold-out show at MetLife is already a parking and traffic exercise. Two in a row, back to back on a Saturday and Sunday, compounds it. The stadium's lots, the overflow lots, the local roads around the Meadowlands complex, all of it absorbs the same 80,000-person surge twice in 24 hours instead of once. Parking passes for stadium lots tend to sell out well before the show date, and by the time most fans think to buy one, the good lots are already gone.
There's an upside here that most stadium events don't give you. A concert has a fixed set time. Unlike a football game that can run three-plus hours with an uncertain final whistle, BTS goes on stage at 8:00 PM and the show runs on a schedule. That predictability is exactly what makes a flat-rate car service work so well for this specific event. We can plan your pickup and your return with real confidence, not a guess.
What Actually Goes Wrong at MetLife on a Concert Night
- Rideshare surge is real and it's steep. A trip that runs a $40 base fare from Manhattan to East Rutherford on a normal night has been known to jump past $150 once a MetLife show lets out and 80,000 phones open the app within minutes of each other.
- Post-show rideshare waits run one to two hours. The lot gridlock is only half of it. Even after you reach your pickup zone, the queue to actually get matched with a driver and get that driver through stadium traffic can eat another hour of your night.
- Parking passes sell out early. If you didn't buy a lot pass weeks ago, you're looking at overflow lots far from the gates, or roadside parking that's actively enforced with towing near the complex.
None of that is specific to BTS. It's what MetLife does to every full-capacity night. Two nights running just means it happens twice.
The Drive From Long Island to East Rutherford
Getting to MetLife from Long Island means crossing the entire NYC metro area, and the route you take depends on where you're starting.
From Northern Nassau (Great Neck, Manhasset, Port Washington), the shortest path is typically the Throgs Neck or Whitestone Bridge into the Cross Bronx Expressway, then south on the Deegan to the GWB and across into New Jersey on Route 3 toward the Meadowlands. Figure 60 to 75 minutes outside of rush hour.
From Southern Nassau (Garden City, East Meadow, North Bellmore), the run usually goes through the Van Wyck or the Grand Central Parkway to the Triborough (RFK), across into Manhattan, and over the GWB. On a clear Saturday afternoon that's closer to 75 to 90 minutes; add real time if you're leaving during the Sunday matinee crowd's exit.
From Western Suffolk (Huntington, Commack, Dix Hills, Melville), you've got a longer first leg before you even hit the bridges. The LIE west to the Cross Island, then the Whitestone or Throgs Neck, then the Cross Bronx and GWB, typically runs 75 to 100 minutes depending on when you leave.
Some Long Island fans consider the Verrazzano route through Staten Island and across on Route 3 or the Turnpike. It can work for the South Shore, but it adds mileage most of the year and isn't usually the faster option unless the Cross Bronx is having one of its bad days.
The bridges are the choke point on all of these routes, and which one you want depends on the hour you're leaving and whether it's a Saturday matinee crowd or a Sunday evening crowd clearing out ahead of the Monday commute. This is exactly the kind of routing decision that benefits from twenty years of watching how these roads actually behave, not just what the map says.
How We Handle a MetLife Concert Weekend
We've run plenty of nights at MetLife, for football, for soccer, and now for stadium concerts, and the drill doesn't change much: the car will be there.
Getting there: We pick you up at your door anywhere in Nassau or Suffolk County and route around whichever bridge is moving best that day. You get dropped at the gate closest to your section, not the overflow lot half a mile out.
Getting home: This is where a fixed show time actually pays off. Because BTS goes on at 8:00 PM and the production runs on a schedule, we can stage your driver to be in position before the crowd hits the exits, instead of guessing when a game might end. When the last song wraps and you're walking out, the car is already close.
One flat rate, set when you book. No $150 surge fare, no app that won't match you with a driver for forty-five minutes, no standing in a dark lot at midnight wondering where your ride actually is. You know the number before you leave the house.
If your group needs more than one car, whether it's a family heading in for Saturday or a group of friends splitting Saturday and Sunday between them, we can also set you up with our hourly service so the same driver handles pickup, waits through the show, and brings you home without a second booking.

Request Your Ride
Two sold-out nights, a fixed set time, and eighty thousand people trying to leave the Meadowlands at once. That's a lot working against a smooth night if you're driving yourself. It's also exactly the kind of night we've built this business around handling. We've been running Long Island car service since 2005, and stadium concert weekends are a regular part of the job, not a special case we have to figure out on the fly.
Request a quote here and tell us which night, your pickup town, and how many riders. The car will be there. That part, at least, is one less thing to think about.
